    I hate ink cartridges.

    I'm sick of ink cartridges, so that was my reason to spend more money and get a laser printer. The set up sounds easy when you read it, but I could not get it to work using the provided disc. I tried several times the first day then just gave up. Next day I downloaded the setup from online and I struggled with that for awhile but finally got to work. The printing that I have done so far (not much) is fast, clean and well focused. The machine is very quiet and looks good. I will update this review after I have used it more. The only complaint I have is with the included instruction booklet. It deals with setup but tells you nothing about using the machine or any of it's features. Thank God for You-Tube.

    Small, prints well, easy to scan, expensive toner

    I don't like the look of it but I do like that it's small. It prints quickly and the quality of the print is good. The toner and drum are both expensive. I have mixed feelings about the price. I think for $200, it should have color too but I know that it's a combination machine-printer, fax, scanner, copier. Seems pretty easy to scan, easier than our last machine which was a Brother. We had an IT guy set it up because we have 4 computers in our office but he didn't seem to have any trouble.

    If you follow the basic instructions rather than the "smart" instructions the set up is easier, at least it was for me. It prints quickly and the quality is great.

    Great Printer, but non-existent Set-up & User Instructions.

    Great Printer. Super fast and crisp, clear, printing. NON-EXISTENT set up instructions. Tip: Go to HP web site, and follow video SPECIFIC to this model. DON'T remove the Toner Cartridge. There are NO Instructions included How to Use all its Functions. You're on your own to search for YouTube Videos to learn how to use this otherwise great machine to its full capacity. As a Printer it rates 5-Stars. HP for their non-existent instructions rate a big fat zero.

    Just the laser i wanted
