Package arrived in timely manner. One hand guard was subpar. I noticed the screws in it were loose and someone had stripped the heads trying to tighten them.. I removed the screws, tapped the holes in the part and installed new screws to fit properly. Once repaired properly everything was 100%. Royal Enfield Hand Guards: effective, sturdy, attractive and super easy to install.
It's cold in New York and the hand guards deflect much of the wind. They are painless to install: remove the two M8 (6mm) bolts holding the end weights on the tipss of the handlebars. Slide one of the new M8 bolts through one of the hand guards and its spacer. Position the spacer and the hand guard on the handlebar (spacer on the inside, guard on the outside) and then tighten the new bolt with a 6mm hex wrench. Repeat the process for the other side of the handlebar. A five minute job. One note: the original end weights are on pretty tight. It takes a little bit of torque to free them.
