    I couldn't put it down. The author tells an engaging story that will keep readers interested. It mixes their strenuous hike through the Grand Canyon with the story of the indigenous peoples who also inhabit the area. I bought this book as a gift because I think a friend who has done some hiking in the Grand Canyon will enjoy it.
