    Amazing performance for the price point

    This Ryzen 1700x is exactly what AMD needed to come out with. I came from using the AMD FX series and never was satisfied with how well it worked with high CPU usage games. I set up a new build with the 1700x, MSI x370 motherboard, and 16gb ram. After a small over clock with MSI game boost I am out performing an 1800x and this is $100 cheaper. No lag, no CPU usage spikes, and low power consumption. Don't waste your time wondering if this is a good chip.....Just buy it and enjoy it.

    A Real Beast

    I just got the Ryzen 7 1700x today. I upgraded from a Ryzen 5 1600.I thought that cpu was amazing and it was but I was shocked when I dropped this Ryzen 7 1700x in it's spot. This thing is just simply amazing First thing I noticed was the speed fight out of the gate.Then I played some games and it was the difference between night and day. I've had Intel Core I7s before I had the Devil's Canyon i7 4790 and I thought it was great and it was but this chip is in a whole different league.I couldn't be happier with you AMD. It took a long time for AMD to come up with something to compete with Intel,but it was worth the wait. I know you will say Coffee Lake but AMD DID IT FIRST!!

    Bang for buck! Great value!

    Great value! Bought this while it was on sale during BF/CM so it was an even better value. Easy to overclock, although I had to pull it back a little to keep the system a little more stable. With a Cooler Master 212, it actually doesn't get too hot, which is great. Paired with an Asus ROG Strix B470 and it rounded the setup quite nicely.
