This release presents all 22 episodes from the first season of MCLEOD'S DAUGHTERS. Claire (Lisa Chappell) and Tess (Bridie Carter) are the two daughters of the title, and at the beginning of the show they are reunited after a long separation. The reunion is brought about by their joint inheritance of Drover's Run, a cattle farm that has been in their family for many generations. Together, the two gather an all-female group of workers to keep the place going. The show creates some admirably strong, inspirational female characters, and builds its original premise into well-crafted storylines.

    Wonderful family entertainment about family and friends

    I love this show, Ive been watching for a longtime on hulu and prime. After the hurricane took out our power and then even when it came on we had no internet for awhile. No Mcleods for a while. I decided it was time to purchase this series and watch it whenever I like. It is a very wholesome drama set in beautiful south Australia. No swearing, no sex, no violence, etc. Just about relationships between family and friends and lots of hard work. It's about the drama of barely making it on a generational farm. All filmed on location and that's what keeps it so interesting. These actors are really shearing sheep, etc.

    So Captivating

    I saw this series on Netflix several years ago. i liked it so much i have been collecting the seasons to get all 8. only a few more to go. this is a very well thought out show that uses all the emotions and feelings of everyday life. Comedy, satire, drama, anger, happiness, sadness, it has it all. i have watched this series 4 times. every time it gets better, it is a must see in my book.
