    Laura; great classic film!

    If you like film noire and mysteries, this film is a grade A example. Gene Tierney, Dana Andrews, Vincent Price and Clifton Webb give wonderful performances that have held up all these years. (Clifton Webb is especially entertaining as the venomous Waldo Lydecker). This film is as absorbing now as it was then. I've always watched it whenever it was shown on TV and I always loved it so I decided to purchase it so I can see it every now and again. Great writing and solid performances never get stale. I'd recommend this film to anyone. Watch it anytime, but especially on a rainy day with a nice pot of tea.

    I think the classic movies in black and white show moods you cannot see in todays movies. The cast is outstanding with some of the biggest names of the time.I have always loved this movie and bought it to send to my daughter and hope she will share it with my grandchildren. First saw this in a movie theater.Have had my own copy for years and wanted to share with the newer generations.

    This classic movie, with its noir vibe and legendary theme song, deserves viewing. Then watch it a second or third time to hear how the composer wove the popular theme throughout the score, adapting it as the scenes and moods change. It's not The Big Sleep, but it still fine entertainment.
