    Pre-cleaner filter. Excellent idea for long life of motor.

    Have been using this type of foam filter for over 30 years. Keeps pleated filter clean and saves money. Just wash with soap and water dry thoroughly and re-coat with light weight motor oil, then take paper towel to take off excess oil and slide over the paper air-filter. Repeat with every oil change. My 1980 Toro lawnmower with its Briggs & Stratton motor are like new. Also added a little Marvel Mystery Oil to my oil changes and the motor is as smooth as silk.
