    The collectors edition is fantastic because it has the extra disc with edited scenes and an in-depth look at the actors and their characters as well as the great movie that is brilliantly written and will touch almost every emotion.

    The dvd casing messed up

    When I opened the package I was greeted to a bent up dvd casing. I love dvd cases so you can seen the title of movies, but I couldn't in this case. (As in the paper was all folded and wrinkled) But the DVD works great so that's okay with me👍

    Oscar-worthy movie and performances

    As someone who lived through the Viet Nam war era, this movie brought back a lot of memories for me, Forrest's steadfast devotion to all of the people he loves is very moving; He's the bedrock for his friends when they need him, and he's an exemplary son, husband and father. The performances of the actors are absolutely stellar and will stay with you for a long time. I highly recommend this movie.
