    Dan Zanes, crazy hair guy, delivers in his DVD

    Jump Up! and get this DVD...a folky, friendly video compilation of some of Zanes best songs. Zanes videos have appeared on Sesame Street and the Disney channel and those appearances helped fuel my 16 month old's addiction to this DVD. Can't get enough of his zany songs! The DVD is split in half, one part is a live taped concert and the other part features videos. Both parts are thoroughly entertaining for young and old alike, although at first we were worried kids wouldn't like the concert part...how wrong we were! We love "Strike the Bell" and "Emmanuel Road," but it is hard to choose favorites when all are wonderful.

    Great DVD! Cant wait until they come out with more!

    I frist saw Dan Zanes on the Disney Channel and fell in love with him and his music. My son(2 years old) didnt give me huge feed back from the short 5 minutes on TV. When I bought the DVD I thought it would be wonderful just to dance and act crazy while enjoying the wonderful music. When I frist put it on my son watched all the wonderful instruments in amazement. The other day I was watching him as he was watching Dan Zanes and he was starting to play alittle air bango. I thought that was wonderful. Anything to introduce him to music is wonderful to me.

    Fun for All

    This is a well-produced, well-shot DVD of music for kids. The musicians are energetic and skilled, the songs easy to sing along with. Zanes seems to have a natural ability for choosing things that children will react to right away. The accompanying musicians are appealing and personable, not just a backup band. Fun for everyone! The kids will dance and sing and the adults will hum along in spite of themselves. The musicianship is not simplified as is the case in some children's CD's. Fun without being condescending!

    Dane Zane All Around the Kitchen

    My 3 year old loves to watch Dane Zane on Playhouse Disney, so I was excited to order this movie. It was not like the videos on Playhouse. It was much more of a concert setting. The songs are still the same, but did not include children dancing, or colorful animation, so is a bit bland and failed to hold my child's attention. I would love to find a collaboration of his work on DVD from his stints on Playhouse, Elmo's World and Nick.

    Great for even toddlers!

    Dan Zanes DVD brings live music to your living room. My almost two year old loves the live concert section of this video. The songs are age appropriate but have a funky rock beat that introduces youngin's to a variety of sound. A great buy for parents trying to provide diversity of all kinds to their families.
