    The converters got here on the day estimated. Thanks for the prompt service. Now I'm off to see how well they work in my project! Oh, nice build, seems to work better than using a LM317 regulator. It fits perfectly where 2 AA batteries would go. OK, I converted a 3v EL wire controller to handle DC from a 12v 1A SMPS that is controlled by a KASA wireless switch, but bypassed the controllers power on/flash IC so it was always on. No batteries, I can schedule the EL light to come on automatically!

    Shipped extra quick and arrived way sooner than expected. Each one new in an individual and sealed package. Decent little inexpensive circuits to get the job done. Just what was needed to replace the one I blew out last week (butterfingers and dropped ground wires makes interesting noises and makes LEDs go dark)
