    The chip in the key is faulty...

    At first I was very impressed that the key only cost me $25 (I had a $10 coupon) and it worked in terms of opening my door. Though, once I found a locksmith which I thought was gonna be an inexpensive transaction to program the key and get it to start my car ended up costing me more than I bargained for since the locksmith said he was having issues with the chip in the key. We took an hour to program my car because we could not figure out the issue and he had to switch out the chip in the key which was an additional cost to the programming cost. Before we were about to give up on figuring out the issue, the locksmith was going to sell me a cut-to-fit original Honda key that would work (guaranteed), which would've cost me less than figuring out this whole issue with the key provided here.     Perfect Fit But Instructions are Needed

    Perfect fit, good value too. My only criticism is that it did not come with instructions. Putting it together is like a puzzle. It has be put together in a special order. I ruined the first one because I thought it snapped together when it should have slid together. Also, it came with a small white sticker that I had no idea regarding its purpose.

    Good for repairs

    I used 1/2 of this to fix my broken key. The back cover fit the original Honda product like a glove. Compared to the price of a dealer, it was worth the risk - and a well taken one for us.
