Amazingly Accurate
I have tried several digital scales over the years and always had the same problem with the weight varying each time I stepped on the scale and also with some always being off by 8 - 10 pounds. So I figured that I would buy this scale to see how it worked. By co-incidence the scale arrived the exact day that I just got home from my doctor's office. I was weighed at the doctor office on a very good professional balance scale. So I figured that this would be the time to test its accuracy. This scale showed my weight to be the EXACT same weight as what the doctor's scale showed. I stepped off and on several times and it always came back to the exact weight. There is an adjusting wheel that allows you to zero the scale needle if needed. It was showing 3 lbs when I un-boxed it so I set it to zero. I have not had to adjust it since. I am well pleased with this little scale. I hope that it holds its accuracy over the long term. Only time will tell that but since it's adjustable it would be very easy to adjust for it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

not happy
To me "oversized dial" means you can read the numbers. I wanted big dial so i could see if it was 116 lbs or 117lbs. Its worse than my very old scale. Like so many things today . . .most of them dont perform nearly as well as the older versions. I don't need any more battery driven devices. This scale may not be as accurate as a digital scale, it'll never report fractions of pounds, but it's consistent and accurate to what looks like 2 pound hash-marks, and that's plenty good enough. A simple scale that looks good too
