    I received the knife exactly as this seller described. It was a discontinued model but clearly this seller took good care of it over the years. They described this as being stored in a pet free home and the knife did not have any untoward odors. Everything worked fine with the folding mechanism still and no marks on the nice handle. It was packaged and shipped with care and they included original pamphlet/box. I felt the price was reasonable for being older but still in new condition.
