    Grundig YB300

    Great quality shortwave receiver as well as FM and AM. Best reception for short wave is at nighttime or very early in the morning. Good inexpensive receiver for your sailboat to get weather forecasts.

    One of, if not the best, AM/FM/SW portables ever made.

    I have had one of these YB300PE Grundigs for 20 years and used it every day. I mistakenly thought it had died so I bought this other one on e-bay. While I was waiting for delivery; I was able to get the old one working. Now I have two! I love them both. As with many small portables, the built-in speaker is not of high quality so I use a small auxiliary speaker plugged into the earphone jack which solves that problem.
