    Good Product; This One, Not Quite So Much

    The seller affirms it worked flawlessly for him. For me, when I turn it on, it begins to play in about 20 min. In about another 20 min, it shuts off. I can cycle the on/off button the remote and it will begin to play again, but will play a somewhat shorter time. Repeated iterations of this lead to shorter play times. All that said, when it works, ti sounds great-- clear, clean music.

    typical nad - just fine

    This ain't a McIntosh. But it's a good little receiver. Plenty of inputs. Looks between the preamp and power amp. For background the built in amp is perfect in my large room. For foreground, the preamp drives a biamped bigger system. Plenty of inputs, pretty good fm reception. Motorized volume control, but I've never seen a remote with the units I've owned. Backlit radio display always seems like an afterthought; I've always replaced the there little incandescents with higher voltage ones, but I see someone (out of China, imagine that!) is packaging an led array for the display - easier and probably cheaper than fabricating a replacement, I'm waiting for mine to arrive. I'm far from a golden ear, but I've never had a complaint about the sounds or reliability of nad. Hard to argue at this ...
