The Good. 1. Price on E-Bay. 2. Light weight. 3. Quiet. Can be used indoors if so desired. 4. Powerful enough to fully blow away reasonably sized dry objects (lawn cuttings and dry leaves no issue) but will also move light stones and related debris if held very close on full power. Not powerful enough on sticky wet stuff though. 5. About 30 min run time on full charge, starts to weaken alerting you to stop and recharge battery. 6. Proven longevity going on 4 years of daily use in a big box Garden Center so I finally bought one for home use. 7. Power Boost Mode. The Bad. 1. On-off switch started to stick after about 3 years of daily use but could always be forced to run or stop. Treat it gently.

ebay's price is good. It has enough power to blow grass cuttings and leaves. Very easy to assemble and use. It is not as powerful as the wrok 18v blower.

It is a nice small blower and will work well for blowing small things off of sidewalks. If you have a lot of leaves and need to blow then into a pile forget it with this blower. Spend the bucks and get one much more powerful.

The blower performs "ok" it doesn't have the wind velocity like a backpack one. It's lightweight even my 88 year old mother enjoyed using it. She swept the patio with it then the driveway, then the walkway and front porch stoop. Told me to keep it that way! I wish Black&Decker had the foresight to build products utilizing the 20 volt platform were they had side ports on them to add extra batteries for longer run time. Or for instance: Lawnmower that could be 20-40-60 volts or more just by adding batteries. Then the tool collection would be very versatile.

These work great for small projects like decks and driveways. They do not have enough power to clear an entire lawn of leaves. I use mine like a broom - sweeping the garage and driveway. I have also used it to blow all the stuff out from under the seats in the car then vacuum up - don't laugh until you've tried it. I had one with a bad bearing that cannot be repaired, so I bought another. These are good for a low price.

This thing is so light, your wife will love it, and you can watch the game. The lower setting is just enough power to blow leaves off your mulch , yet not disturb it. If you need more power, just hit the power boost. It will blow the leaves and dust out of your garage without choking you in dust. It has replaced our brooms for welcome mats, sidewalks, and grass clippings. We keep ours near the door for handy use. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Great tool.

I think this is going to be a nice tool for my mother. it is light weight and seems to blow hard enough so my mom can blow the leaves away from her patio. it also uses the same battery as some drills I have, so they can be enter changed if needed.

I love not having to pull my 100 foot extension. Its super light and easy to use. I read some of past reviews about the power of the blower, and yes it isn't super strong but it does what i need. Great little blower.

It's a nice product but it just does not have very much power. Even using the "turbo" button doesn't create quite enough "uumph" to move much. I use it to blow the sawdust off the table after using the mitersaw.

I purchased this sweeper with some trepidation because so many other reviewers complained that it was underpowered. I got a really good deal, so thought I'd take a chance...glad I did. My intended use for this small, light-weight sweeper was to blow off my riding mower, porch and patio, and myself after cutting my grass. It does all that quite nicely. I do agree with most other reviewers that this blower/sweeper does need to be in "boost mode" to be of practical use, so I just placed a zip tie through the handle that slips over the boost button as needed to keep it depressed, (see photos) which works fine for me. In boost mode this has plenty of power for my purposes. It very nicely blows grass and even wet leaves off my smooth concrete surfaces. I have used it to go around the house foundation, and garden perimeter fence to blow out grass and debris that had accumulated over time. It is so convenient to use, I find myself grabbing it more and more for little jobs I would not have even contemplated dragging out my corded sweeper for....example; blowing wet leaves off my car in the morning. I have three batteries available for this as I also have the B & D string trimmer, but have yet to exhaust one battery in a single session. I have never timed a session of use, but estimate I have easily gone 12-15 minutes. Would I recommend this sweeper to "rake" a yard full of leaves...absolutely not, but I do highly recommend it for so many of the small to intermediate chores we encounter.Read full review
