    Common cheaply constructed pump.

    Same sump pump as sold by many vendors. The last one seized it's motor just past the warranty period. Same very cheap micro switch prone to failure. Unit after unit has to be bought to have a running pump. The original Penberthy pump in my house ran for over 50 years with no repairs. All these new ones are good for one to two years before failure and replacement. It's very sad to see American manufacturing come to this.
