    Wow, bright light!

    I have a little Primus Micron single-mantle backpacking lantern that I just love. I use an adapter on it to run on 1 lb. propane cannisters instead of ($$) butane. The Coleman mantles that should work in it are (once burned in) short, scrawny, and don't puff out nicely like they should. Due to this, they're not very bright either. These American Mantle products are WAY better. Fit is perfect on my Micron, they puff out and hold their shape, and are much brighter. Even the mantle fabric seems higher quality, giving me the feeling they're going to hold up to lots of use. Goodbye, Coleman!

    Double tie mantle.

    Great mantle, at a great price. Two in a pack. Light them, and when totally white and "burnt in" then turn the gas on. Works perfect. I have the Primus Tor Junior propane head/lantern. Model 217995. It takes the 730800 mantle, hole in the top and bottom of mantle, and this fits perfectly. Great product.

    these mantles appear to have been designed, manufactured, sold and shipped with the highest degree of standards. i wouldn't go anywhere without carrying some, and for sure my lanterns are only going to bask in the bright light that these mantles produce, flawlessly!
