    The Ray Bradbury Theater: a classic.

    A series that should be published again (in Blu-ray maybe?), for the new generations. It contains 65 episodes, each based on a short story by Ray Bradbury. Some of the episodes are quite memorable, like for instance The Lake (disc 6), or The Playground (disc 2), The Toynbee Convector (disc 4), or A Sound of Thunder (disc 3), or The Veldt (disc 6), or Marionettes Inc (disc 2), or Mars is Heaven (disc 3), or The Happiness Machine (disc 4). Bradbury confessed that he became a writer truly only after writing The Lake. That short story is one of the most impressive and emotional of them all. The episode of The Lake is an exquisite rendition of the short story - it is the one that is most emotional and most memorable.

    Very good series and glad I could find them all together in this set. DVD's play very well with good sound and picture. Highly recommend if you want to see a quality series from yesteryear that is better than most of the ones out now.

    Anthology series with most episodes better than movies. Stellar cast, great writing, superb production values, memorable characters. Ray Bradbury was a huge talent and this series reflects that.

    The DVDs are in good condition, and it is a good value. I guess I don't care for Ray Bradbury stories as much as the others I've ordered, like Night Gallery and One Step Beyond.But someone else might. It's still worth buying.

    Like the shows of the past; Alfred Hitchcock Hour, Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, Shock Theatre, Monsters, Tales From the Darkside.. etc. Very entertaining. (Plus Ray Bradbury is not only a story writing talent, he is also entertaining.
