The value, for me, is in our family history. My mother worked at Die Hausfrau at that time period. My father, who lived in CA, wrote the magazine to put an ad in the magazine looking for a wife. My mother was the one who wrote back that they didn’t take ads like that. They were married 7/17/37. My son is into family history. I thought this would make a nice gift.
