    Cute illustrations, terrible book

    The stories accompanying the cute illustrations are terrible. If this sampling is an accurate representation of the writer's ability, it demonstrates she is not adept at creating imagery through storytelling. The clothes featured aren't even Chanel, which makes the title for this book misleading. All I can think of is, the Dior book must have made her a few bucks, hence this sequel/continuation. Not recommended as a read, but if all you're after are some cute fashion drawings and can find the book used, it's worth it. If you want to read something ridiculously entertaining and educational about the actual life and career of Coco, I recommend "The Gospel According to Chanel" by Karen Karbo. I tore through it and loved every word.

    Disappointed

    after watching a show on the woman who inherited a vas amount of vintage clothing I was really looking forward to this book. When I ordered the book I innocently assumed there were photos of the beautiful clothing. Tons of illustrations but not a single picture. Very disappointed.
