    Awesome movies!

    I'm bit of a history buff, and I love movies that take the time to be accurate. And these DVDs really get them right. The motives of the characters were there, they were at the correct locations to make them more accurate as well. To sum them up, awesome sauce!

    Great Interpretation

    This DVD is excellent in all respects EXCEPT Martin Sheen is terrible as Robert E. Lee. Tom Berenger however is an excellent Longstreet. Picket's Charge is so realistic that it is hard to watch. Chamberlain's defense of Little Round Top is intense. All in all, it will leave you with the impression that war is about blood and death, and should not be taken lightly as it was the bloodiest war ever fought by this country.

    Gettysburg/God and Generals Collectors Edition DVD

    Very good movie. Entertaining and educational. Accuracy is suspect at times but if it gets people interested in the subject slight inaccuracies are ok in my mind.
