Check the foam cone / triggers before you replace the head.
Works well with the Roland V-Drum trigger, after I replaced the foam cone over the trigger. Overall satisfied. I don't know if both the cone, and the head were worn out, but after replacing both, the snare has good sensitivity and dynamics as best can be expected from a V-Drum.
