    Danco Open but new cartridge

    It worked for me. I watched several YouTube tutorials to make sure I knew how to install this cartridge, that helps tremendously. This Danco cartridge packaging had been opened but not installed. Their loss and my gain for this bargain.

    Be careful if you are a novice!

    I had a lot of trouble with installation of this cartridge. They have replaced the original flat seals with o'rings that will not properly fit into the control. I actually tore one of the o'rings trying to insert the cartridge and had to replace both o'rings with the flat seals from the replaced cartridge in order to get it in. The directions were also very confusing.

    Sometimes you have to purchase a replacement items from the store and you will be amazed how much these little valves cost. I paid for two for a price of one at the store. Once install, it worked great as it should. Only later had to make an adjustment to get more hot water, other then that it worked great. It turns off and on like a new valve.

    A hair to big

    The overall cartridge is good but should of gone with a original delta replacement. The danco is just a hair too big and will not fit into the hw and cw holes. Even had a professional plumber try to replace it

    Worth the money.

    Absolutely fit as it was supposed to. Previously replaced seats and springs in the old cartridge. Didn’t last. Been a month since installing the danco cartridge. No leak. I recommend.
