    Don't buy for potable water, or home use. Good for industrial or agricultural purposes.

    Was going cheap in replacing a pressure regulating valve (bought a spare "just in case") and this product simply isn't up to snuff in terms of quality. It looks painted and I'm concerned about it being used for potable water - and when it comes to your drinking water, don't take chances! I ultimately consider it $40 wasted dollars, but a priceless lesson. Some things you can go cheap, but if you're replacing a one-off part (tool, or your home PV) then spend the money and buy accordingly.

    Not for human consumption

    The details about this product indicated it was 100% lead free and good for use in homes and gardens. However, upon receiving the part, the box clearly spelled out that is was not to be used for human consumption. So which is it?

    Good Price, Great Value

    This is the second one I've purchased in about 10 years. I believe the other was clogged from flood water and I could never quite get it to work correctly again. As I said, I think failure was a fluke of the environment and not the fault of the manufacturer, so I bought another one. Good price too!
