    Nice short-lived answering machine.

    This is the fourth machine of this model that I have ordered. Call me a fool for repeating an action with poor results, but each one I have purchased has pooped out in less than a year. Since they are pretty cheap, I order another one like it. But I can't say much good about their longevity. Works great until it doesn't!

    Wonderful product for answering your phone calls........

    This answering machine replaces an answering machine I have had for the past 20 years. It finally quit and I wanted to replace it with the exact machine and I was fortunate enough to have found it on ebay. This AT&T Model 1740 Digital Answering System Machine is excellent for answering calls and with the standard message, it allows for all the "ROBO-CALLS" to by pass the machine and not leave messages. This answering machine is excellently what I wanted and does a wonderful job at answering my phone calls.
