Although there are some issues, the best compact 12-channel analog amplifier at present
Since power efficiency is not important, I have selected an analog power amplifier that can faithfully output the waveform of the input signal to the extreme of the physical limit, except for the subwoofer. All 22 speakers for 13.2 channel playback are BTL driven so that the speaker output current signal does not flow to the ground circuit. The compact external shape of the Dayton Audio MA1240a Multi-Zone 12 Channel Amplifier is particularly good for storing many power amplifiers. Two of these amplifiers are used for side and ceiling sound effect speakers other than the eight speakers on the left and right of the front and the center. If possible, forced air cooling by a fan may generate noise when the fan operates, so natural air cooling with a heat sink with a higher heat dissipation effect is the best. The design of a compact amplifier equipped with two large and heavy transformers is the world's number one product concept. However, the position of the center of gravity was unbalanced toward the front, and I purchased two of these products, but the electromagnetic noise from the transformer was louder in one of the two.
