    1996 Ford E 350 did not seal on fittings.

    Leaked grease on all fittings on my 1996 E 350. Do not know why. Put on a new fitting and they leaked as well. Do not know why! Perhaps I am confused by SAE and Metric. As most of the fasteners on this vehicle are a mixed batch. The sealing surface inside the coupler looks to be metal and this may not seal to older fittings. Problems is probably mine but cannot be sure just what the problem is at this point. So order carefully if you do. Purchased a cheaper lower pressure rating coupler from a local source with an apparent flexible seal surface and it sealed perfectly on all fittings new or older.
