    The Sword That Was Broken

    My son is a huge Lord of the Rings Fan. He may have come by it honestly since I first read the trilogy myself in the early 70's. He collects all manner of movie memorabila but wanted this particular piece with a great desire. So...I added it to his collection and he is thrilled beyond words. The workmanship is subperb, it is true to the Book and Movie and looks fantastic on the wall of his room. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in Lord of The Rings or in swords in general. A very fine piece! Thanks so much!

    Excellent Display Piece

    This is a very durable and legitimate looking sword from the Lord of the Rings. The weight, look and feel are all spot on. To nitpick, there are a few small nicks and scratches, and I wish there was not a trademark stamp on the blade that detracts from the overall piece. Also, the plastic insert in the pommel sticks out a tiny bit, but overall very much worth the money. It's a wall hanger and the blade is not sharp, but if you are using it as a display item or even as part of a costume it's close enough to perfect for the money.

    Great sword, amazing quality

    I purchased this sword in the hopes of getting something special.. and I did! This sword is a good as it gets when speaking about collector weapons made from real materials. There were however some drops on the blade itself, possible a protective agent from the acid treatment. It had a blue color to it, but I could remove it with some gently rubbing with my nails. Always check with your country's weapons laws and import laws for weapons of this kind. I had to wait about 5 weeks because I could get my sword because it was in police hands until I got my license.

    The Flame Of The West.

    Very bright was that sword when it was made whole again, the light of the sun shone redly in it, and the light of the moon shone cold, and its edge was hard and keen. And Aragorn gave it a new name and called it Andúril, Flame of the West.

    Great display piece

    Looks great next to glamdring, and feels nice albeit a little heavy, with some of the United cutlery pieces becoming more hard to find I knew I had to have it the moment I saw it, although the box came with a dent in it but the sword was unaffected.
