The wrong item was delivered. The seller contacted me within an hour of being notified of the circumstances. She sent a refund the same day. She was a pleasure to work with. I plan on ordering from her in the future. An A+++ seller.

The item was not delivered, but it wasn’t the seller’s fault. UPS couldn’t find me at home and reported that I refused the delivery, then returned it to the seller. The seller was very understanding and promptly refunded me. In short, the purchase wasn’t completed because of UPS, but the seller was excellent and handled the situation as best as possible.

Bought one item offered at 1.99. Only reason for 5 star. I thought shipping a little high. Mailed in flimsy thin plastic mailer that could have been easily damaged. I immediately ordered 9 more at the same time but they then charged me 2.49 each. I was expecting same 1.99 price each...AND they did not combine ship not saving anything on shipping charge.

  • Fun Little Guitar

I got this guitar barely used, and it's big fun. While not a National, it's well made and sounds good. The intonation is right on the money which is critical to my enjoyment of any stringed instrument. It's also lighter than any of my metal bodied reso guitars. I like to gig with at least two guitars to accommodate several tunings, and this one works well. My only negative comment is that the action is bit low for bottleneck playing. But that might be a function of laziness on my part. It sounds good right out of the box, but a new set of strings is always a good plan on imported guitars. A new National cone would probably be 80!bucks well spent, but a guy can't get to everything. The bottom line to me is that while this is not a National I get most of the sound for a fraction of the ...

  • budget reso

This guitar has the tone and volume of resonator instruments costing 3 or 4 times as much more. It feels well built and even if the sides and back feel like there're made of particle board, (I'm not sure what the material is),I see no reason why it shouldn't provide years of playing enjoyment. The makers of the Recording King have nailed the material and method of producing a resonator cone that rivals some of the best. Value for money it's a winner for a player of any level who can get over the stigma of buying an off-shore guitar.
