I did buy them with full knowledge that the thread was M8 (metric) with my Sportster threaded at 5/16"-24. The left side mounted with no issues because the turn signal mount has a 1-1/2" extension bar under the mounting. I simply made an identical extension bar out of aluminum flat-bar with one hole drilled at 5/16" and the other hole tapped to 5/16-24 for the right turn signal. Photos attached. These mirrors are much better than the stock ones. AAAAA+++++

I received 2 different sized pairs with the same stock number on different size boxes. After taking pictures, customer service allowed me to send back the wrong pair and refunded my money, even though buyer pays return shipping. In this case the customer service was excellent.
