    Wrong description

    I was actually sent an IPad 2 which is better because it does have a sim slot when you can't get wifi. Battery life does vary with internet signal, if you keep a lot of apps open and if you allow apps to send notifications etc.

    Still works well but outdated.

    As iPad users know, the 1st gen stopped at IOS 5 so not much you can do with this now. You can only use a limited amount of old games and not many apps. There are no more updates for this device so you're really stuck in the year 2010 when it was released....Nice loud sound and good for mail and you-tube videos and music playback though. Let's face it, its a 1st gen and well outdated now, time for it to go to the stud farm for iPad's!

    Depends what you want it for.

    I bought this for my 6 year old to keep her away from my phone. Unfortunately, the software is so outdated now that none of the apps or games she likes to play will work on it. Luckily, you can still run older versions of certain apps such as Netflix and Amazon prime, so I've kept it for myself to watch tv in bed.
