SOLDIERS OF BENGAZI DVD.
It is a good picture, but it lacked the truth of asking for help hundreds of times. People coming and never reaching the attack point, or engaging the enemy....The soldiers running around like chickens with their head cut-off. Muslims by the hundreds never ending their attack. Too many loose ends ;like half a story. It could have been better... Hillary was part of the story. Yet left out. History as told by liberals. The movie is surprisingly good and apolitical. Well told, with a good build up, giving the main characters some depth and setting the scene well. Solid performances too. This film is a rare film that makes gun battles intense, and makes you feel for the characters. Just like the characters in this movie, you will be on the edge almost all the time. And it's really well shot and to think that this actually happened is really breathtaking. So the based on real events. When the action starts it is not all unrealistic heroics but fairly plausible battle scenes. It is almost like a documentary, showing what happened on the ground, showing the desperation that existed. Quite compelling viewing, from a point, as the battle gets tenser and tenser and the odds greater. There are intense battles ... The movie is surprisingly good and apolitical. Best real life Hollywood made
I'm a combat veteran, I watched this movie with my wife and it made me realize that getting back into the action is great but the family you have at home is what keeps you going. Their are always going to be conflicts and good people are needed, but you have to realize your family needs you as well. This movie made me really appreciate my family and defiantly my wife for putting up with me even though I can be very hard to deal with. Made me see that I gave 12 years and 4 tours to the country and I would never change that for anything but now I'm disabled and I'm needed else where. Being a great husband and father. This is an excellent movie. The characters are very well developed (no pun intended), the location and culture are illustrated in fine detail. The interactions between the government people, the contractors, and the locals are crystal clear. I've watched it twice, and will watch it several more times, but as the credits roll, I'll still be asking the same questions. What was going on in the State Department and the CIA back in the U.S.? How did these people wind up in this situation; what was being done about it at the national level while it was going on; and what was the aftermath? It does matter.This is an excellent movie.
