Works as Expected and Needed, hope it last a while before a re-treatment needed!

Product is as expected, but was chunky and not easy to mix well w/o possible big mess, but all we need is some graphite and 'glue' and can make a keypad contact as good as new - this a bit easier than having to make your own - bought 2 and hope will not dry out, will need in the future !!

    Would not stick

Even though I meticulously cleaned the old key surfaces with alcohol, then lacquer thinner on the 2nd try, and I tried three times ( 3 coatings and 2 removals) to coat the key ends with various thicknesses of material it simply would not stick without flaking off. In fairness, the buttons on my remote are rubber. So the rear contact surface it also rubber with a black primer that was under the previous electrically conductive material. So there is some flex there the conductive material must endure which it seemed unable to do. I had to order a different type of repair kit with little circles of conductive material that get glued to the old key with silicone adhesive. That worked fine.

  • TRS-80 Model III keyboard lives again!

I was a little skeptical but it was the only product that even claimed to work and work it does! I restore vintage computers. I have a TRS-80 Model 3. When I got it, not one of the 63 keys worked. All dead. I did a little research and found this product. While it was an incredibly tedious and laborious process, I desoldered, removed & disassembled each key switch. Cleaned the old carbon surface THOROUGHLY and applied a small dab of (WELL MIXED) product. Tested each key before reassembly and WOW! It works! The stuff seems to be quite durable too. Follow the instructions to the letter and you will have success.

  • Lightweight with Great Features

This is a very good Product easy to use with reasonable Price just follow the Easy Instructions and the Product will fix your Keypad with Ease. I looked at several Stores for this Product without Success. A Friend told me about the type of switch this was called. I Goggled it an the Name Keypad Fix was found in the repair Process. It only took a little bit on a Q-tip to solve the non working Button on the Keypad of my Police Scanner. Good for Telephone Keypad Buttons also Remote Controls. Thanks Ebay Mike

  • Useful for items not used much.

I used this on a cell phone (not used much) and it has held up well. Also used it on a tv remote that was used alot. The fix flaked off some pads causing buttons to act as if they were being held down constantly. It bridged the contacts on the mother board s if the button had been pressed. I had to remove all the fix on the tv remote.
