I had a lot of noise on an audio line from other devices such as power supplies. I was sceptical about this kind of device fixing the issue. It worked PERFECTLY. The audio signal is completely clean now and no background humming or buzzing. The only thing was no instructions of English diagrams, but 10 seconds of trial and error and I worked out which way around it went :)

I'm an audio technician and upon receipt put this device through a series of tests. While it is not a 1:1 transformer and there is some signal lost (or gained) by inserting it in an audio line, the frequency response is very good. It's not down by much at the extremes of 20Hz and 20KHz and this is true for a wide range of load impedances, including 600 Ohms. Inside are two audio isolation transformers of ample size, which are offset to avoid crosstalk between channels. There are no resistors.

I used it on a diy Bluetooth player, and it worked great to remove the loud whining and buzzing sound when the Bluetooth was on.

This ground loop isolator gets the job done. I hooked it up, started the car and turned on the particular input that I had hooked up with the isolator and listened. The humming and buzzing were gone. It Works!
