Thick or long hair.
I really like the product but I have thick and mid shoulder hair. The clips do not like to stay on the roller. They pop off so I've had to section my hair even more than usual. The clips should be made to hold more volume. As the design is now, it holds the curler and a small volume of my hair. I do like how they work though.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

If you have thick or long hair, don't buy it...
It is a great set and the curlers heat up quickly but the problem is the clips. I have longer, layered hair and the reason I purchased this set was that I was hoping to save a little time in the morning. Instead of standing in front of a mirror with a curling iron I wanted to use the curlers and have a little extra time to get the kids ready while my hair set. I was able to split my hair into sections and use all of the rollers but the clips don't do a great job of keeping your hair in place. The clips didn't stay in place and the hair that you've curled tightly around the roller becomes loose and therefore doesn't get curled. If you manage to keep a clip on a roller and your hair doesn't become loose you will find a kink in your hair where the clip squeezed the roller. The rollers would stay in place, mostly, if you aligned the roller horizontally. If you try to align the roller vertically, the hair would unroll. If you have longer/thick hair, this set might work if you split your hair into smaller sections. With that said, you would have to do half your head and then the other half as there aren't enough curlers to do it. That option doesn't save any time at all. This set might also work for you if all you want to curl is half of your hair instead of all the way to the top of your head. This is a high quality set but if you have thick or long hair, don't buy it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
