    A relic of an old time long passed

    In terms of the movie, Aladdin is among Disney's best films and is worth watching. Amazing story, great animation (even for today), and likable characters, plus one of Disney's best villains. And if you wish to watch it in its original form, which means no streaming, no Bluray, no DVD, and absolutely no laser disk, then watching it on VHS will bring back memories of an older time that has long since passed us by. Just getting to experience it on the small screen, with a VHS player and on a VHS tape is very nostalgic. That said, in terms of which medium to watch it on, the truth is that VHS went out of style a long time ago (about 20 years ago as of 2025). More than likely people will watch the movie on streaming since that's the norm these days. In order to even watch this movie on ...

    Not As Much Disneyfication As Pocahontas

    There are changes in this adaptation but many of them were actually for the best (i.e. one Genie, Jasmine being proactive). Also helps that there are magical songs that don't distract from the story, adventure awaiting its characters and Robin Williams too. Yes, he's in this. Not a cringeworthy show, that's for sure.
