    Mr. Baseball is a Grand Slam!

    I really enjoyed watching Tom Selleck make a total ass out of himself in Japan! Total gaijin ignorance and prejudice. "I don't eat bait" Where have I heard THAT before? Tom Selleck did a wonderful job on this film, and the complete picture (as opposed to the film) that comes across is beautifully done. The arrogant American is going to show the Japanese 'how it's done'. Well, he does. But in the process, I think that the Japanese also show him the same thing. The end gestalt is what is great when you have a true blending of ideas, and the actors and script and the finished product put it across perfectly. The entire concept is a touch trite, true, but the movie is a joy to watch, and you'll laugh yourself silly. Enjoy!

    Mr. Baseball

    I love the fact that it was convienent to buy over the internet. It was nicely packaged and I recieved the DVD in a quick and timely fashion. I was not happy with wide-screen version and I should have paid more attention to that feature before I made the purchase. Other than that, the movie speaks for itself and I was content with the quality of the picture. I bought the DVD as a gift for a close family member. Hopefully this was of help to you.

    Tom Selleck as entertaining as ever

    Rcvd disc couple of days after paying. Cover in good shape. Just played disc - perfect playback. Not one glitch. Older movie I’ve seen before & wanted to watch again. Used disc less expensive than renting.

    One of the best baseball movies around. A classic. Everyone should own this movie if they like or even dislike baseball. Very entertaining. Tom Selleck is at his best and very enjoyable.
