    Great look 60052 Lego cargo train

    I mostly bought this set 60052 for the diesel engine. Most Lego Cargo train sets look very European. In contrast, this engine design is very American. The details are amazing. The color scheme pleasing. I love watching it go around the tracks.The track layout comes with 2 switch tracks for added fun. My favorite car is the cattle car. The hay, milk bucket and long horned cow are all mesmerizing to look at. To be honest though, I don't like that a train engineer is not included. The cargo station train crane is flimsy and the motion is not smooth. It's light weight, it will fly off the tracks is run too fast. This train is battery operated by a power functions remote control. The engine takes 6 AAA batteries and the remote takes 3. I miss the old 9V electric 120V supplied ...

    Some of the bags ARE opened

    I received this LEGO train set and 4 of the LEGO bags have been previously opened. The bags are rolled and sealed with scotch tape. I am unsure why they are like this since they are advertised as being “sealed”. I have not finished the set, but have not had any missing pieces as of yet. (Mind you I have only opened two bags, one sealed one previously open)

    Bang! For your buck $

    I did a bit of research comparing this set to the high speed passenger train and the heavy hall train which are currently readily available at different stores and he's what I came up with. The heavy haul train has more straight train track pieces compared to the other two as well as more pieces but it's also the most expensive (200-250). The passenger train looks great but with the small amount of track , small selection of figures and the power functions motor being housed in One of the cars the playability is reduced to two cars. This cargo train gives you a locomotive which houses the power functions motor and receiver. The 3 cars are of varying lengths and Give a good amount of playability. The set comes with a good amount of track including and left and a right switch track ...

    Great-Grandson's delite!

    This set is really complete and the 10 year old had it put together in one sitting. He really thinks it is great, wishing only that it came with head lights. Something I think we can fix. Other than that it looks great, operates great and keeps him busy being creative and not watching his tablet.

    Lego is awesome!

    Bought it for a Christmas gift and it is perfect! The blue train set is getting harder to find and Target has it for its MSRP not some crazy "retired kit" price like a few other sites. This is a great set...all of their trains are good but my seven year old really liked the blue engine and the cool accessories.
