Great for water proffing and protection from mold on the leather.
I knew about the benefit of using mink oil on leather years ago after using it on the plam of my baseball glove. It made the leather soft and waterproff. I was reminded of this when I was a man of the TV show Port Prtection on his boots and he stated the mink oil would make his boots waterproof for the rest of his like. After this, I started lookin on ebay and found this product. Keep in mind, mink oil may turn some leather items darker. It will also water proof items similar to leather. It will also work on women's purses to water proof and protest against mold.I have placed mink oil on all my hunting boots and it works great. I also placed it on my cowboy work boots. They were a light colored tan but now they are a great looking dark tan.

Awesome on stiff leather!
Helped soften the leather on my new chainsaw boots. I applied a liberal coat and left close to the heater about 12 hours and was amazed how much it softened the leather. Boot were very stiff behind steel toe and the back of the boot. Hurt my feet after a couple hours around the house, but wore them all day after the mink oil with no pain.. All I'll use from now on!

Best Leather conditioner ever!
I used this on old leather jacket and now its got a few more years in it! I also got a new leather jacket today and will treat it as well as winter is here and I need it water proofed for the snow and cold riding days ahead!

A Tear for a drop of Fiebing's Mink oil!
Fiebing's minks make an excellent product and I hope they (the minks) did not suffer giving up their "oil" for it, lol, don't care. But in an ideal world, minks could just sell their own oil on the fly and everyone would be most pleased. Thanks!

Great product
Because I live in the tropics where rain falls every month of the year and sometimes for weeks I needed something to protect my leather shoe soles from destroying fast, I turned to mink oil paste which for the past two years have been keeping me from changing shoes or re-soling them. This product has protected the grain of my leather shoes and I'm most happy with the value for my money
