| "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag" for PlayStation was a huge departure from the previous entries in the "Assassin's Creed" franchise. While past games took place on land, "Assassin's Creed IV" takes place across bodies of water. As the ‘assassin’ Edward Kenway, you're in charge of a pirate ship. While this PlayStation game still revolves around assassination and Templar plots, the setting gives the narrative a fresh setting. The story takes place in the Golden Age of Piracy in the Caribbean. Throughout your adventure, you'll meet other famous pirates, like Benjamin Hornigold. The cast of characters is diverse with many historical figures like in past "Assassin's Creed" games. This PS4 title was both developed and published by Ubisoft. It had a release date of 2013 in the United States."Black Flag" lets you live the life of a pirate king. Your ship, the Jackdaw, takes this open world game to new heights. Instead of traveling on foot or by horse, you'll sail to new destinations. As you sail, the spyglass lets you view distant ships or ports. You can attack any ship you see with the use of your cannons. When you get close to an enemy ship, you can board it and plunder its riches. You can upgrade your ship at various points in the game. Upgrades increase both the ship's damage and its defense capabilities. Throughout the course of "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag," you'll hire additional crew members to work for you. While much of the game takes place on the sea, there is still plenty of action on land as well. Like previous "Assassin's Creed" games, you'll need to locate synchronization points. These points show you various activities on the map that you can complete for new accessories and money. New activities in this game include searching for treasure and hunting the local wildlife. During the campaign, you are frequently asked to assassinate various targets. As a trained assassin, you have many ways to dispose of a target. You can slip in close and use your hidden blade to dispatch him stealthily or you can murder a target out in the open with a pistol. However, going that route means you'll need to contend with a fight to the death against the guards. You can use objects in your environment to make your task easier. For example, some weather conditions can help mask the sound of your weapons. You can also blend in and out of the crowd to get away without being seen. The PS4 version of this title includes improved graphics over the PS3 accessory. It also features faster loading compared to the PlayStation 3 title."Assassin's Creed: Black Flag" for the PlayStation 4 includes a multiplayer component. In Deathmatch, you can pit your assassin against other PS4 players in open combat. The Wanted and Assassinate gameplay modes task your assassin with elimination a player. However, this rival assassin looks like an NPC. You'll need to pick out this rival assassin from the crowd without killing an innocent bystander. The assassin who kills their target the quickest without any mistakes is the winner of the match. This PS4 title earned a rating of M by the ESRB. This rating is due to the mature themes, graphic violence, and sexual content found in these video games from Ubisoft. | |

This game its worth the money, but not for "multiplayers".
Ahhh...Assassins Creed. Not much bad I can say about this game, or even the series for that matter. This game is by far the best in the series! Butits hard not to be captivating when living the life of a pirate. I have only two gripes about this game. First being the excessively long campaign. Granted this may not be an issue for most people but over my years spent in gaming, I have transitioned into a mostly online player and campaigns in games (no matter how amazing they are) tend to bore me at times. Secondly, the multiplayer in this game is very innovative yet has no value for me. It also takes several minutes of waiting to find a lobby to play in.

Great game, specific item was in good condition
I've been looking forward to this game for a while and heard it was one of the better ones in the series. The ship mechanics are a bit of a learning curve, but everything else is classic AC gameplay. The storyline is really good, the controls are pretty smooth, and of course - who doesn't love a good sea shanty?

Afloat Again, You Landlubbers!!
Great game!! All the Assassin's Creed Games are great; but this one is my all-time favorite. I first played it on an older system; and I'm gladly replaying this remastered edition. Never before had I thought that being a pirate captain could be so much fun! The landscapes are beautiful; the map is huge: so MUCH to do! If you want to play an incredibly good pirate game, please play this one. You won't regret it.

Rekindled Flame
I owned this game previously on my PS3 but ended up giving it away when I got my PS4. After rebuying the game for the new gen its been the only thing I've played besides Ghost of Tsushima. I remember why I loved this game so much and can't put it down. From start to finish this game is extremely engaging. If you like action and adventure set in the era of the pirates, then this game will meet all of your swash buckling needs.
