| Features | Empowered by Intel's innovative Intel's 3D NAND QLC technology; this SSD offers higher capacities at a lower cost than TLC-based storages. With PCIe; the new Intel SSD 660p skips SATA and its limitations. The future of storage is built on PCIe; NVMe and QLC technologies; so choose the Intel SSD 660p; ideal for Laptops and Desktops running everyday computing applications. Compared to TLC's capacity; Intel 3D NAND QLC technology stores more bits per cell; allowing for higher capacity; faster read performance and lower power consumption per drive. This technology makes the most of small spaces by expanding capacities up to 2TB of storage on small M.2 form factor. |

Works well in my MacBook Pro 2013 with small adaptor
I have macbook pro 15" late 2013. It had 500 GB storage. I was trying to upgrade to 2TB storage and it was going to cost me about eight hundred bucks with advertised, Mac recommended card. Which I find steep, considering you can purchase this for about $250 bucks. Plus I had to purchase one small adaptor for another seven dollar and now I have 2TB NAND Intel Storage in my dear friend MacBook Pro 15", working like a charm. I think the price of this 2TB Solid State D storage is getting even better - under two hundred bucks. I highly recommend. So far, I find my mac working well.

Great SSD value and a great upgrade for my Late 2013 MacBookPro
Everyone, by now, knows the performance and power advantages of SSDs. Even more so for M.2 NVME SSDs as they are not constrained by the slow SATA interface. This SSD is wonderful in that it is a great mix of good, if not class leading, performance, capacity, and price. I used it, along with a PCIe to NVME adapter to upgrade my 1TB SSD to 2TB in a MacBookPro Retina for late 203. The performance is actually better than the Apple SSD from back then, which, at the time, was class leading. In fact, the performance is limited by the PCIe lanes available in the late 2013 MBP. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase. The only complaint is that the day after I bought it here, this same drive on NewEgg was around 15% cheaper.

Cheap and fast enough for data storage
Got 500+ MB/s (read & write) ripping from blu-ray ‘backup’ file to single .mkv file - all on the same drive. Good enough for me.

Great deal on fast nvme ssd
Faster than I thought it would be, no noticeable difference from my 1TB NVME EVO.. Scores 2,000 read and 2,000 write on Samsung magician. My EVO scored 3200 read and 2100 write before it was boot drive but now that the evo is boot it scores 3100 read and 900 write.. The price I paid for the 660p was more than worth it!
