  • Education the easy way.

So much information and carnival glass patterns that I'm able to classify my collection. Easy identification guide, most U.S. classwork companies covered. Excited to have so many color photographs and bios in one comprehensive book ( encyclopedia). Author Bill Edwards is the go to person for many types of antique and collectable glass.

  • Great Book for New Collector

I love these books! They’re wonderful if you’re new to collecting. While the internet provides a wealth of information, nothing replaces a picture in hand. This series of Collectors books usually have several dozen, if not hundreds of pictures per book. They also introduce you to the different manufacturers of each type of ceramic, glass, silver, etc. and the individual maker’s many pattern lines. Additionally, some of the books identify the various hallmarks (back stamps) used by the companies and the dates associated with them. This information is beyond helpful! If you can find a good hardback copy for $5-7 - definitely worth the purchase. The price guides are irrelevant now - that’s where the internet comes in! However, pictures sans Pinterest? Priceless!
