    Ok item for the price

    The steamer works ok but doesn't stay snapped together very well. It would be excellent as a one tier item, but it doesn't stay snapped together good enough to use the two-tier feature consistently. The recipe book does not include rice recipes and the steamer holes are actually too large for rice, but it steams vegetables such as broccoli cauliflower and carrots really well.

    I should have listened to the other reviewer

    As someone already reviewed about this thing. It works but the bottom plate is so flimsy. The things don't stack on each other properly. The quality of this makes it very easy to to burn yourself if you're not careful.

    Good idea; poor execution

    This is a great idea but the sections to not fit comfortably together and keep slipping apart. Where there is a second edition that fixes that I will buy it and throw this one away.

    Fine for what it is.

    The steamer works perfectly, easy to clean, generous capacity. Cooking times take some experimentation but I'm very pleased with the steamer. Good quality? well it's made of plastic and it works, so I'd have to say the quality is CHEAP but SUFFICIENT. ( I wouldn't give it as a wedding present.)

    Bad steamer!!

    The sections don't stack well. The lid warped the first (and only) time I used it. Doesn't fit the top. Poor material - not ridged enough to handle safely. I will return this item.
