I purchased this phone to replace my Samsung S6 that had very short battery life. Phone arrived and seems brand new out of box. I bought one for my wife also. My phone set up was flawless. Took about 10 minutes and all contacts, emails and old texts transferred over. My wife's phone was a different story. Nothing transferred over. It seems my phone had an updated version of Android and hers did not. She had different looking icons for the same apps on her phone. I updated her phone several versions. I spent hours and hours trying everything to transfer data from the old to new phone. I finally was able to copy her files on the computer and at least get her contacts transferred. Other than that we both really like the phone. The ability to add a micro-SD card for additional memory is a huge plus. Battery life is very good so far.Read full review

I read good reviews about this phone and I'm pretty pleased with it. It was an open-box purchase but looked brand-spanking new. Battery life is always a concern for me. This battery seems adequate but I was hoping for a bit more life. In fairness, I may not always close out battery-draining apps at every instance. (Be sure to notice the lower left-hand button that shows all running apps and give you a button to close them all out.) Only one big drawback; The charger is not compatible with the phone. Yes, it will charge but you will have to shave again when it's complete! I pulled out my old charger from my S5 and suddenly I was charging at high speed. So, I guess they discount the phone by replacing the charger with a dud, virtually useless. I solved the problem with an existing charger from my previous phone. But everyone won't be able to do that. It definitely starts up faster than my old S5 and that's good. When I was downloading an update of some size, the phone grew very warm to the touch...but only on that long upload. Most of the time it's fine. I got a gold colored model and than put it in a clear case. So good! Very nice looking. Camera albums are now individually/automatically dated! That's a nice improvement. Also, the camera setting are better arranged than previously...not nearly as hard to locate controls. But they did away with the exposure control (at least I don't see it so far) and I sometimes used it to push light up in dark settings. Generally, I like this phone. But had I noticed that the S7 Edge was actually larger, I probably would have gone with that phone. No big deal. Oh, yes, I did know that the S8 was out in the market place. But the older S7 seemed to get better reviews so I went with it. Saved a couple hundred bucks buy purchasing on Ebay. And Verizon helped me set up this phone not purchased from them! Points for Verizon!Read full review

The Galaxy S7 Edge looks, feels and is simply beautiful. When it arrived in non-original packaging and knowing it could potentially have slight wear, I was a little concerned. But it looked/looks brand new. No signs of use. Came with original Samsung Adaptive Fast Charger. I swapped the Sim card from my old Apple iPhone to the Edge and followed the prompts to set it up. I have no problems with the edge and use it daily. There is about a 1in long sliver along the edge that you pull/swipe to open the edge menu. From there you can customize your preferred contacts/apps/utilities and many other options to quickly access in the edge banner. Going from Apple to Android, especially the S7 Edge, it's as if I left the town I grew up in for the first time and realized there's a big, customizable world out there. The camera options and images are amazing, clear and easy to use. The device feels like smooth glass all around so you will want to protect it. I'm loving not having to worry about keeping it dry. I take this phone on all kinds of rides, even water rides and no problems. It takes a good soaking. Intense Florida sun has been an issue for my devices in the past, but though it feels really hot, my S7 has not overheated or malfunctioned, yet. Overall, I would buy this phone for my family members. I love Apple, but with all that this phone can do for a lot less money, I'm not going to miss it.Read full review

I recently purchased this phone for my Wife, I saw how much she was enjoying it and dove into it myself and loved it. I purchased one for myself and have not looked back. I enjoyed the Note 3, 5 and S6 and this S7 blows them away. I really enjoy pics and videos going all the way to the edges, water resistance is great and it is easy to keep clean. I really recommend this phone as the processor seems very quick with very little to no lag time.

I wanted another HTC but was talked into the Galaxy S7 Edge and love it. The screen is bigger and brighter but still easy to hold because of the curved edge. It charges fast and is water resistant. It also has a convenient SD slot if more memory is needed. The camera takes excellent pictures, colors are clear and sharp without any blurred shadowing and fuzziness. The only thing I don't like is how the contact list is displayed and accessed.

These phones are not able to load the Verizon apps or have Verizon be able to take over the phone when you want their technical support to look at it, because they were not designed for Verizon, but multiple carriers. Visual Voice Mail is a problem. These phones are used and refurbished by Samsung which is better than being refurbished by most other places. They are not brand new phones as some sellers state, They are certified pre-owned reconditioned phones.

I've had this Samsung Galaxy S7 edge since Dec. 2017, so almost two years' use to review. The operation and durability (using excellent, Tech 21, Edge-specific covers for safety) have been very good. Any time one buys a refurbished phone, there is risk. Shortly after my purchase, a bright pink vertical line appeared on my screen. It's ever-present and I've learned to live with it. Other people see it and exclaim, "What the hell is wrong with your screen?" The pink line runs right through the hour in the time at the top of the main screen, so I always know what the "minutes" of time are, but not the hour. Haha! I could have made a big deal about it, but it was a bargain and I'm a laid back person. The camera in this phone has better, more sophisticated features than comparable iPhones (I learned this in a Smartphone photography class).Read full review

Love the phon. The only reason the four stars is it would a better phone if it had at least 64GB of internal memory. It really performs great. This was a gift to our daughter in law and she also loves it. I already have a S7 edge that I bought back in April 2016. It is the best phone on the market right now and from what I have read about the S8 it will be even better. Still I wish it would be available with at least a 64GB internal memory.

This phone exceeds in all respects the S6. It is waterproof, has plenty of memory, never freezes. The camera is great. Best of all - no problems.
