Product Information

The second Shrek-licensed game for the Xbox is a multiplayer affair in the tradition of Nintendo's Mario Party series. Up to four players select characters from the DreamWorks computer-animated movie before participating in an interactive board game. Landing on certain spaces triggers one of 30 mini-games -- some competitive, some cooperative -- for the right to earn drops of bug juice. The first person to reach 100 drops wins the game. The six available characters include Shrek, Princess Fiona, Lord Farquaad, Monsieur Hood, Thelonius, and Donkey.<br><br>Super Party also features six boards to compete on, each representing a locale from the movie. Two modes of play include Tournament, where players alternate turns moving around the board before participating in a mini-game, and Free-for-All, which focuses solely on the activities. Featured games include "Dragon's Breath," where players attempt to outrun the flying creature's flames, "Lily Pad Leap," a test to see who can last the longest on a pond without sinking, a cooperative game of "Castle Crumble," and firing vegetables from a catapult in "Food Fling." Players will also roll over knights while perched atop a barrel, catch and toss rats into a well, and more.

    Shrek Super Party...great for 15 years

    Been playing this for 15 years with my nieces and nephews, just had a "Game Night" with them, ages 10, 16, 17 and we played Super Party until 2:00 a.m. Old school graphics etc but so fun. Shrek Super Slam is great too.

    Shrek Super Party for Xbox

    I bought this game recently as a gift to a family member. I had it several years ago but sold it when my xbox crashed. My family loved the game so I decided to get it now that I have an Xbox 360 and see if they still had the same opinion. They did. We all love the simple yet fun gameplay. I think if we didn't have 4 human players, the game would be less fun. There is no way to set the difficulty of the A.I./CPU players, which range from terribly incompetent to almost unbeatable. When I played by myself, one computer player constantly beat me, one was slightly worse than me, and one wasn't hardly even trying. If you get at least 2 or 3 players playing, it's a lot more enjoyable.

    Fun Multiplayer Game

    This is a fun and challenging multiplayer game. I find all the mini games to be nice challenges, especially when challenging the computer characters. This game is fun on your own or with a group of friends. This game is also appropriate for kids, although some may get frustrated with some of the mini games.
