    Old school flash, modern materials

    If you have a 335-style semi-hollow body electric and want a strongly built, well protected, classy looking case to embrace your guitar when you're not playing, you can't go wrong with the Gator GW-335 Brown. In high style and all by itself, it faithfully recreates the mid-1950s rock-and-roll guitar-love scene, evoking memories of James Burton, Chuck Berry, and Slim Harpo. The outside is a good looking, textured-brown Tolex (vinyl covering) over a wooden structural frame, with white stitching around the top edge. The shackles and feet are gold-colored hardware, thick and very solid, which looks really sharp with the brown Tolex. The inside is lined with deep-pink plush fur, soft and sensual, which covers thick, flexible, padding to snuggle your beloved axe like nothing else and hold it ...

    Sturdy, good-looking, well-made case. Fits a Gretsch G5622 perfectly

    This cases is sturdy, latches nice and tight (unlike some cases) and the brown covering adds some additional class. I needed a case for a Gretsch G5622T (335-style guitar with Bigsby) and this case fits perfectly. The pink-ish interior is a turn-off to some but it looks fine to me. The added feature of a satin "cover" overlay that covers the top of the guitar is nice in that it keeps the finish on the bridge, tremolo, etc., from rubbing on the lid of the case during transport and will hopefully keep the hardware looking good longer.

    A sweet case for my 335 copy

    OK, while it may not be the most protective case on the market, and I did remove the shroud because it got in my way, for the price, it’s awesome. It not only fit my full size 335 copy with a 16-1/4” lower bout, I’m confident it will provide me with all the protection I’ll need. 5 stars.
