Oh that smell
Received the safe a couple of weeks ago and I love the size and interior, it fits and looks great in its location. My only issue I have is the smell. I can only guess and say that it may be the glue (?) that holds the carpet in place on the interior. I have tried sprays, candles, carpet fresheners and even tried home remedies like baking soda and/w vinegar. Nothing will eliminate that odor. Even tried just leaving the door open for periods of time to air out but then the whole room smells. If you have any suggestions please let me know.
