    Carole King - Tapestry CD

    A classic, one of the best albums ever. I went out and bought this CD after watching the play about Carole King's life - I had absolutely NO idea she wrote so many songs that we all know and love! The play gave me a whole new perspective and understanding of song writing - but I digress... Anyone who appreciates quality music and, particularly, smart and meaningful lyrics, should own this album.

    Old favorite

    I used to listen to Carol King (and James Taylor) nonstop growing up. Not long ago, I saw the musical Beautiful. It brought back those memories and prompted me to buy the cd to listen to it again. What joy!

    Carol King is one of the greatest singer/songwriters of my generation and "Tapestry" is a prime example of that! Do yourself a favor whether you are mt age and remember her music or you're younger and looking for meaningful songs to enjoy and buy this cd!

    Classy Lady

    I got hooked on Carole during my hippy days in San Francisco. I would have loved to meet her in person. She is a very gifted song writer. She is the female version of Bob Dylan, Paul Simon and/or Paul Williams. I like hearing her sing her own songs because that way her emotions ad to the depth of her talent and the messages she portrays.
