Works well but there's a glitch.
Works well but on some of the songs the first letter of the song title and the song artist are missing on the display. Same glitch when trying to look up a song or artist. The bottom of the player has REFURB stamped into it, so that may explain the problem. I have tried to update the firmware but the glitch didn't go away. Overall I am satisfied with the mp3 player because it does work as it's supposed to, just with that little glitch.

Practicality and the features I need, Clip+ Zip is a great buy.
I got this to replace my iPod nano and Ill go over how it compared and fared. Battery life: nano wins this one, the Sansa has worse battery but not by a whole lot, I can get more than a days worth which is all I need since I charge it every night. Features: the BIG one is the microSD slot, which I use a 32gb card for. Can't beat a 32gb card + 4gb on board memory! It supports nearly all file types including FLAC, and also has a built-on clip. It charges with a universal microUSB, which everyone has by now. Sansa wins Design: didn't really impress me, liked the compactness and lightness, am not a huge fan of the screen but it doesn't matter since all I need it for is music. Nano would win Overall Value: definitely Sansa, the sansa is cheap and has a lot of practical features and isn't half bad to look at, definitely a good purchase which can be made even better if you hack a better interface onto it. great buy.

Great product, excellent quality, versatility and great value!
Awesome! This is the coolest little media player on the market! So easy to use, I've got mine synced with my Rhapsody account and it is so easy to interact with. Definitely recommend it, soound quality is excellent, battery lasts upwards of 10 hours if you use it right. Plus it's got the micro sd card slot, I've got an 8GB card in my 4GB player; 12GB is a pretty good amount for a shuffle like device, I use it when I'm exercising, cleaning the house, walking around campus. It's perfect and portable, buy yourself a good mp3 player, get this one!

Excellent for hikers and runners
I did some research on all the most popular mp3 players currently on the market and the Sansa Clip Zip seemed to be perfect for my long hikes in Yosemite. I am so happy with my choice. The device itself is only a few inches tall and clips securely to your waistband. It lasts about 15 hours on a single charge. It's super easy to use and is compatible with Rhapsody, which is easy and quick to upload on your laptop or smartphone. Highly recommend.

Best mp3 player sandisk made. Newer models are a big step down in functionality.
Love the clip+ and clipzip players. The Sandisk Fuze was also a good player. Starting with the Fuze+ and continuing on with the clip sport and clipJam they have Not been improved. These older models are far superior but getting harder to find and more pricey. MicroSd card is a huge plus. Great sound, 8+ hr battery.
